Jewelry Care

Thank you for your purchase!
Your satisfaction is important to us. Please inspect your item as soon as you receive it. If there are any issues with your order, contact us immediately so we can correct the situation.

Chains can break with rough wear, and for this reason we can’t replace broken chains after 14 days of delivery. We are a small home-based business and absolutely love what we do. Thank you for supporting us along our journey!

Yours truly,
Kat + Beth

Sterling silver is a precious metal that may require occasional cleaning. Use jewelry polish on a soft cloth or wash your jewelry with warm water and a mild detergent, then rinse with warm water. Dry your piece with a soft cloth then buff with a jewelry polishing cloth. Household chemicals or chlorinated water will cause tarnishing, so remove your jewelry before coming in contact with these items. Oils from your skin will ‘clean’ the silver, so the best way to keep your piece looking its best is by simply wearing it.

Our gold plated pieces are .925 sterling silver and plated with the thickest 14k, 18k, or 24k gold plating (known as vermeil). To clean your piece, soak your jewelry in soapy warm water and then dry and buff with a soft cloth. Remove your jewelry before swimming in chlorine or salt water and avoid it coming into contact with harsh chemicals. If your jewelry is tarnished beyond what a good cleaning can remedy, it can be re-plated. We can do it for you for an additional fee, or you can ask your local jeweler to do it. Gold plated pieces can last a long time with proper care.
